Collaboration for WPT Efficiency Optimization Paper (Simulation + Co-Authorship)
I am looking for 1–2 reliable collaborators for finalizing and publishing a research paper in the field of inductive wireless power transfer (WPT). The paper is already developed (analytical model + experimental validation) and focuses on load resistance optimization for maximum efficiency in resonant WPT systems. I am specifically looking for collaborators who can contribute with: – numerical simulations (Ansys/MATLAB / FEM / COMSOL or similar) – validation or extension of the presented model – potential improvements for journal submission (Q1/Q2 IEEE preferred) Summary of the work: [This paper proposes a multilayer magnetic shield as an active design parameter for improving efficiency in low-frequency near-field inductive wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. The proposed methodology departs from classical ferrite-based shielding by establishing impedance sequencing as a constructive design principle for magnetic-field amplification in the magnetoquasistatic regime. Unlike conventional approaches that treat the shield as a passive ferrite element for leakage reduction, the proposed framework models the shield as a functional multilayer structure engineered for magnetic-field redistribution in the magnetoquasistatic regime. A near-field formulation based on impedance contrast and extended shielding-effectiveness decomposition is introduced, explicitly incorporating the shield–coil distance as a design variable. Experimental validation is performed on a resonant planar-coil WPT system operating at 10.42 kHz using single-layer and multilayer ferromagnetic–conductive configurations. Magnetic flux density measurements and DC-input-to-DC-output efficiency evaluation show that field enhancement is not uniquely correlated with inductance variation but is governed by controlled magnetic reflection at successive impedance discontinuities. The optimal multilayer configuration achieved a magnetic-field gain of 7.24 dB and an efficiency increase of approximately 3 percentage points compared to the unshielded case. The results establish multilayer architecture and shield–coil distance as key design parameters for performance] What I offer: – co-authorship in the paper – possibility for future collaboration – contribution to a practically validated WPT system (experimental data available) I am looking for serious collaborators only, interested in publishing and contributing meaningfully. If interested, please contact me with your background and relevant experience.
