I work independently on themes in urban design, urban transport, renewable energy and household energy practices. I have most recently worked for five years as a Senior Research Manager in the Department of Architecture at Monash University. I have quite a long career which has seen me work and do research in computer and urban energy fields. I also run a few pet projects such as REVR.tech and NOOBA.au.
I am very keen to support the energy transition via electrification: both transport and buildings. The research gaps that interest me would answer questions around the inequities of renewable energy access, the difficulties of transport decarbonisation, and emergent technologies such as solar energy sharing systems, EV conversions, and software automation/AI.
