Copula-based dependency modelling of metocean data

Hi, I am looking for a collaborator for a paper on copula-based dependency modelling of environmental data. The project focuses on high-dimensional D-vine copulas, the simplifying assumption, and diagnostics for assessing model adequacy. I am looking for someone with a background in mathematics (applied statistics) or data science, ideally with some familiarity with copulas or multivariate dependence modelling. The main role would be to discuss and review the mathematical and statistical correctness of the work and help strengthen the methodological argumentation. If the collaboration develops well and the contribution is substantial, I would be happy to offer co-authorship, likely as second author.
