Researcher Collab is a digital platform, currently offered in beta, that connects academics, researchers, and institutions to foster collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. Users can:
- Create and join collaboration calls (beta)
- Discover research partners using AI-assisted matching (beta)
- Showcase academic work
- Connect with startups seeking academic mentorship
Features are experimental and may change. Researcher Collab does not guarantee successful matches or project outcomes.
By accessing our beta platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, updated profile information
- Use the platform for legitimate academic and research-related purposes only
- Respect other users' intellectual property and data privacy
- Avoid any form of harassment, spam, or misuse
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No paid services are currently offered during beta access. Some features may in the future be offered through a freemium or subscription-based model. If payments are introduced, terms will be clearly outlined at the point of purchase and processed through a secure provider.
Planned models may include:
- Free basic access
- Premium plans with extended features (e.g., enhanced visibility, analytics, or promotion)

We aim to respond to all inquiries within 3–5 business days.
Researcher Collab is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (e.g., DigitalOcean or AWS). While we strive for maximum uptime, the beta version does not provide a guaranteed service level agreement (SLA).
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform
- Upload malicious content
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent your credentials
- Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) without written permission
Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
All content you upload remains your intellectual property. By uploading, you grant Researcher Collab a non-exclusive license to display and promote your content within the platform, unless you delete it.
The platform design, branding, and underlying code are the property of Researcher Collab.
Researcher Collab and its operators shall not be held liable for:
- Missed collaboration opportunities
- Misuse of content by third parties
- Any damages arising from platform outages, inaccuracies, or unauthorized access
You use the platform at your own risk. The beta version is provided “as is” without warranty.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of significant updates via email or in-platform announcements. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We anticipate establishing a legal entity in Estonia; however, the platform is not yet operating as an Estonian company. Until formal incorporation, these beta terms are provided for informational purposes only. Applicable law and jurisdiction for any future commercial services will be specified in the updated Terms upon launch and incorporation.
