This Beta Access Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the user (“User”) and Researcher Collab for voluntary, no‑charge access to the pre‑launch / beta version of the Researcher Collab platform. No sales are being made and no paid services are currently offered. This Agreement does not constitute an offer or contract for the sale of digital services.
This Agreement governs non‑commercial, testing‑only access to features such as collaboration tools, AI‑powered matching previews, profile visibility options, and startup mentoring interfaces in beta. Features are experimental, may change without notice, and may differ from any future commercial release.
No purchases are available at this time. Access is provided at Researcher Collab’s discretion by enabling a beta account. If and when paid plans (e.g., Free, Premium Monthly, Annual) are introduced, they will be subject to separate terms and conditions presented at checkout.
As no digital sales are currently made, the EU 14‑day withdrawal right for digital content does not apply at this stage. If paid services are launched, applicable consumer rights and any withdrawal information will be provided in the new terms.
Not applicable during beta access, as no fees are charged. If paid features are introduced in the future, a separate refund policy will be provided and will apply from that time forward.
During beta access, no invoices are issued and no VAT is collected. If and when paid services become available, invoicing and VAT (if applicable) will be handled in accordance with the user’s location and the service provider’s place of establishment, as specified in the then‑current terms.
Users agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep access credentials secure. Users must not misuse the platform or use it for unlawful, non‑academic, or unauthorized purposes.
All platform components—including AI tools, designs, and collaboration infrastructure—remain the exclusive intellectual property of Researcher Collab. No ownership rights are transferred under this Agreement unless otherwise stated in a separate license.
Researcher Collab may suspend, limit, or revoke beta access at any time for maintenance, policy concerns, misuse, or other reasons. Where reasonable, efforts will be made to notify the User in advance.
We anticipate establishing a legal entity in Estonia; however, the platform is not yet operating through an Estonian company. These beta terms do not constitute a sales contract. Applicable law and jurisdiction for any future commercial services will be specified in the updated terms upon launch and incorporation. Mandatory consumer rights under the User’s local laws remain unaffected.
