11Revolutionizing Data Management and Security with the Power of Blockchain and Distributed System

Managing sensitive data and ensuring its security are critical components of modern organizational processes. However, conventional centralized systems have significant limitations in transparency and security. To address these issues, the emergence of blockchain technology (BT) and distribution systems (DSs) presents a promising approach. This chapter aims to explore the potential benefits of combining BT and DS to enhance data management (DM) and security. Initially, it provides an overview of the current state of DM and security, emphasizing their importance in modern organizations. The chapter then delves into the concepts of BT and DS, highlighting their unique features and advantages in DM and security. Moreover, it discusses the challenges and limitations of BT, including scalability and interoperability issues, and weighs its advantages and disadvantages in DM and security. We analyze the potential of BT and DSs in enhancing DM and security, identifying the opportunities and challenges that arise from their use. Finally, the chapter provides insights into future research directions and highlights the potential impact of these technologies on DM and security. This chapter serves as a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers who wish to explore the possibilities of these technologies in enhancing DM and security. With this new approach, we can anticipate a future with greater transparency, security, and efficiency in managing sensitive data.
