Jerald Salimbao Saidina is a faculty in the Political Science Department of Mindanao State University–General Santos, where he teaches Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, Asian Political Thought, Peacebuilding, Conflict Resolution and Gender and Development, and The Contemporary World. A cum laude graduate of MSU-GSC and currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Political Science at MSU–Iligan Institute of Technology, he has built a scholarly and professional career centered on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, gender and development, and democratic governance. He previously served as a Research Assistant for the international participatory study on Gender Equality, Masculinity, and Peacebuilding under the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and as Project Admin Aide II under the OPAPRU–MSU MNLF Transformation Program, contributing to post-conflict normalization, project coordination, and community fieldwork. Jerald is also the founder and current Vice-Chairperson of Tudtúlan Incorporated, established in 2024, an organization dedicated to championing and amplifying Mindanawan stories and narratives through research, story writing, peace initiatives, and community engagement.
