Dr. C. Vijai is currently serving as Professor at the School of Commerce, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Annamalai University and brings over 13 years of experience in teaching and interdisciplinary research. A prolific scholar, he has published 132 research papers, presented 157 conference papers (including 65 with ISBNs), authored 6 book chapters, and published 6 books. His research contributions have earned 1,272 citations and an h-index of 17.
He was awarded a Book Grant by the Indian Council of World Affairs (2024), featured in the World Scientist Rankings for 2023, 2024, and 2025 by the AD Scientific Index, and received the prestigious ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Ministry of Education, Government of India (2015).
He has supervised several Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars and actively contributes to academic advancement through 54 faculty development programmes, workshops, and seminars.
