This paper examines the impact of integrating a gender perspective into modern labor policies through a systematic literature review. Topics addressed include theoretical frameworks, organizational impacts, practical success examples, as well as future challenges and emerging trends. The analysis considers international agreements and norms, such as CEDAW, the Sustainable Development Goals, and national policies applied in various social, economic, and cultural contexts. Findings highlight how a gender perspective helps reduce inequalities, improve labor equity, and foster inclusive, diverse, and equitable work environments, emphasizing its role in organizational competitiveness, sustainable growth, innovation, and long-term social change. Additionally, the study explores persistent gaps in labor policies from an intersectional approach and the multiple opportunities for development through interdisciplinary and future academic research initiatives.
