I am a public health practitioner and researcher with a background in pharmacy and computational science. My work is dedicated to bridging critical gaps in health by leveraging data-driven strategies. I have extensive on-the-ground experience managing health, nutrition and disaster response programs in Sudan. This has provided me with a ground level perspective on urgent challenges in health system strengthening, community engagement and accountability in crisis settings. I have directly designed and overseen large scale data collection efforts including Third-Party Monitoring (TPM), KAP surveys and Community Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) to inform evidence-based interventions.
I am actively seeking to publish and advance work at the intersection of public health, AI in healthcare and humanitarian accountability. I aim to develop a research portfolio that translates field observations into actionable evidence, strengthening both policy and practice.
I believe this can only be through research collaborations and mentorship opportunities to further refine my trajectory and contribute meaningfully to the field. I am confident that my hybrid background can bring a valuable, practical perspective to academic research teams.
