With over 25 years of experience in higher education, I possess dual expertise in biological sciences and
educational quality assurance, allowing me to bridge the gap between technical research and policy
implementation. As an Assistant Professor of Biology, I have led multiple funded research projects,
including a flagship collaboration with Monash University (Australia) on forest fire prevention and post-fire
recovery funded by the National Center for Vegetation Development. My scientific output includes
publications on environmental and biological studies.
In the domain of evaluation and peer review, I serve as a certified Quality Matters (QM) Master Reviewer and Program Reviewer, where I have led official external quality audits for universities to ensure compliance with international benchmarks. My evaluation experience extends to the national policy level, where I act as a Reviewer of Educational Programs for the National eLearning Center (NeLC) in Saudi Arabia, assessing platforms like FutureX and OERx against Vision 2030 standards.
I am actively involved in the global scientific community as a peer reviewer for the Online Learning Journal (OLJ) and the International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS). Furthermore, I have served on over 30
institutional committees, managing academic accreditation, curriculum development, and graduate
supervision. My work demonstrates a consistent track record of managing competitive research grants,
supervising graduate researchers, and delivering capacity-building workshops for faculty and students
